5 Days Kilimanjaro Trek – Marangu Route

Trip Highlights

The Marangu Route, also called the “Coca-Cola Route,” is Kilimanjaro’s oldest and most established trail. Known for its comfortable hut accommodations, it is the only route that allows climbers to sleep in huts instead of tents, making it ideal for those who prefer a more relaxed approach to trekking.

Over five days, you’ll hike through lush rainforests, open moorlands, and stark alpine deserts, culminating in the summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. With expert guides, scenic landscapes, and cozy huts, this trek is perfect for first-time climbers and those seeking a rewarding, moderately challenging adventure.
