6 Days Kilimanjaro Trek – Machame Route

Trip Highlights

The Machame Route, often called the “Whiskey Route,” is one of Kilimanjaro’s most scenic and adventurous trails. Over six days, you’ll trek through lush rainforest, open moorlands, alpine desert, and glaciers, culminating in the unforgettable summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m).

Though more challenging than Marangu, the Machame Route offers better acclimatization, breathtaking views, and a more remote experience, making it a favorite among climbers seeking adventure and spectacular scenery. With expert guides, comfortable tented camps, and incredible landscapes, this route is perfect for those looking for a memorable, challenging, and rewarding climb.
