Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), meet your Thamani African Safaris guide and transfer to your comfortable lodge in Arusha. Take time to unwind and enjoy the lush gardens and panoramic views of Mount Meru.
In the evening, savor a delicious dinner while receiving a briefing for the exciting safari ahead. This day is the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s warm hospitality and stunning landscapes.

Tarangire National Park – Elephants, Lions & Baobabs
Drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Explore diverse habitats, spotting lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous antelope species.
Bird enthusiasts will enjoy over 550 bird species, including the lilac-breasted roller and kori bustard. Marvel at hippos in the Tarangire River and keep an eye out for elusive predators in the bush. Return to your lodge for sundowners and dinner under the African sky.
