6 Days Kilimanjaro Trek – Umbwe Route

Trip Highlights

The Umbwe Route is known as the steepest and most challenging path up Mount Kilimanjaro, offering a raw and adventurous climbing experience for those seeking a true wilderness trek. With fewer trekkers and a direct route to the southern glaciers, it allows for more solitude and incredible scenic encounters.

Over six days, you’ll traverse dense rainforest, heath and moorland, alpine desert, and arctic landscapes, culminating at Uhuru Peak (5,895m). This route is ideal for experienced climbers or anyone looking for a physically demanding adventure with spectacular views and a sense of accomplishment.
